participate?

Prepare a project featuring from 1 to 4 artists and a booth sketch for review by the selection committee

What are the gallery selection criteria?

4. Focus of the gallery on new artistic media and experimental projects

5. Gallery program exploring socially relevant topics and featuring underrepresented minority artists

1. Quality of the gallery program and its mission statement

2. Quality of the gallery's stand concept (preference for presentations featuring one to three artists)

3. Featured press and social media coverage

Galleries

Up-and-coming and established galleries with a curated program and a roster of artists.

What type of exhibitors are welcome to apply?

Private collections

Independent Collections are welcome to apply, to feature their committment to supoorting the arts, tell their story to the general public and gain more visibility in the art market space.

Hybrid art projects

Online and offline projects that curate shows and/or media programs and represent up-and-coming artists, looking to gain major exposure in the international art landscape.

Corporate art collections

Businesses and institutions that are committed to conscious collecting may benefit from major exposure and fulfilling social responsibility and sustainability goals through the fair participation.

Art Foundations

Private and public art foundations, that curate a consistent program of contemporary art exhibitions, are invited to apply to feature their work to the audience of art collectors and art professionals, creating collaboration synergies as well as fundraising opportunitie

Public art grant

Public art is an inherent part of ReA! Lugano experience, where participating galleries will be invited to submit an application to take part in a large-scale city-wide installation project supported by the Municipality of Lugano and Ministry of Tourism.

Sustainability Award

This award will celebrate and recognize artists and galleries that demonstrate innovative approaches and a strong committment to sustainability, ecological causes and environmental awareness through their work and practices.
